David Moyes, earlier in the week, had criticised Luis Suarez for diving, and discussed how it deters fans away from games. There wasn’t much more Suarez could do in return to the Scot’s statements than scoring a goal, creating another and having a perfectly legitimate third denied, whilst adding in an humiliating goal celebration for good measure.

Check out the new podcast, available now! We talk about the Premier, Champions and Europa League. We go over the England squad, and what you’d ask if you met Roy Hodgson on the tube, plus we have a special new feature on the podcast after putting Balotelli Watch on hold for a bit. Also, we discuss the top strikers in the world; Neymar made the cut, but he wouldn’t make our top list of footballers as cows. Sorry Ney.

He’s udder-ly disappointed. WHEY. Anyway, we’re not actually sure why he is dressed as a cow, we think it’s for an advert. Otherwise…that’s just weird.

Anyway, there are a whole number of ways to listen, click on the ‘Podcast’ page at the top-left of the page and you can either stream it or download the podcast from there. Or just click here to go there direct. Also, for iPhone/iPod users, you can subscribe to it on iTunes and if you have an Android phone, any RSS podcast app will have it available for download by just searching us. It couldn’t be simpler! So give it a listen and please give us some feedback however good or bad, we want to make it as good as we possibly can so you enjoy it as much as we do. Email us, Tweet us or Facebook us your feedback!

Hope you enjoy the podcast. Apologies, it’s a bit long this week, it’s the extra week off we had, so there was more to talk about.

Up the banter!

The guys.

The former England captain would admit to using the words, but explained he was only repeating the words he thought he was accused of using. The magistrate in London found that whilst he did not necessarily believe Anton Ferdinand lied when he said he did not make any such accusation towards Terry, it was quite possible that Terry believed that Ferdinand did, and so used the aforementioned words…to deny that he had actually said them.

The Ugly Game

December 23, 2011 in Features, Premier League

I don’t believe that Suarez is a racist, but his ban has served to highlight a much bigger issue in football today. Read the rest of this entry →
